Charles W Peek formed the company in 1946 based in Tuckton,
Bournemouth.

The original wholesale business
sold giftware to seaside resort towns in the South via
Sales Representatives and Agents. |

By the mid 1950's Children's Rides
and SideShow Equipment were being hired to Corporate Sports
and Social Clubs, Carnivals and Fetes. |

Gift wrapped toys for Children's
parties were added to services offered to Sports and Social
Clubs together with Christmas Decorations and Novelties. |

Giftware wholesale business ceased
and Sales & Marketing shifted from sales representatives
to duplicated catalogues.
Fundraising games & equipment were added to the Hire
equipment and also marketed to charities and schools. |

| 1970's |
Following the arrival of John Peek
and Robert Eveleigh in the 1970's, colour catalogues marketing
Christmas Decorations & Novelties were sent to Hotels,
Pubs and Restaurants as well as the existing clubs. |

Theme Decorations were added in
the 1980's to give a seasonal spread. |

| 1995 |
Gift-wrapped toy business was sold
to Abbey Distributors. |

| 1997 |
Party Animal European wholesale
division was formed selling party goods to retail party
stores throughout the UK and Europe. |

| 1998 |
Company relocated to Reid Street,
Christchurch having sold the two existing sites to developers.
A retail party store "Party Animal Superstore"
was launched at the new premises. |

| 1999 |
The Hire division was sold in 1999
to give more space and resources to Party Animal with
the goodwill sold to a local company and the equipment
sold off. |

| 2001 |
Party Animal wholesale division
was passed to Anniversary House to allow the company to
focus on its core business of Themes & Christmas Decorations,
Fundraising Games & Equipment and the retail Party
Store. |

| 2002 |
The retail store was re-launched
as "Peeks Party Store". |

| 2003 |
On-line shopping is launched on
the Peeks web-site www.peeks.co.uk
Serendipity Sam's Play & Party Centres leased 10,000sq
ft of warehousing space.
