Peeks the Event Makers is a Family Company founded by Charles W Peek, in 1946. At first the company produced Christmas Cards and Toys from a small shop in Bournemouth. The business grew through developing Fund-raising Games & Equipment and Wrapped Children's Party Presents. The business grew at such an extent that the company had to relocate to new sites twice in their first decade.

Christmas Decorations and Theme Decorations were later added to the product range and in 1998 the company moved again, this time to its present site at Reid Street, Christchurch boasting over 40,000 square feet of warehousing, an equally large area of parking and the addition of Peeks Party Store.

Theme & Christmas decorations customers include contract caterers, pub's, clubs, hotels and restaurants with nominated status awarded by many corporate customers. Fundraising customers include School Parent Teacher Associations, Church Groups, Charity & Service Club's.
